Early Learning Center Program | Kansai International Academy Kobe Campus

The Early Learning Center (ELC) provides a safe, nurturing, yet stimulating environment for children aged 1 to 3 years.

Our carefully designed process of learning through play is called active participatory learning. We believe children are born sensory-motor learners and that they learn best when they have direct hands-on experiences with people, objects, events and ideas around them.

Teachers are expected to value and respect each child as a unique individual and support their natural desire to be active learners.
Creating an active learning environment for toddlers means intentionally considering all their needs: social and emotional, physical and cognitive.

Play is the key to learning

Playing outside effectively stimulates all five senses. You can feel the sun on your face and the breeze on your skin as you play on the playground, jumping and running around. All of these activities stimulate children’s senses and help their brains to develop.

At ELC&K, we developed an original curriculum for learning English as well as a right-brain program designed to stimulate development in children when their brains are still growing.

Enrollment Eligibility	Teddy Bear class：Born between April 2, 2023 and April 1, 2024 Mermaid class：Born between April 2, 2022, and April 1, 2023
Course	Short course : 10:00〜14:00 　Kansai-area 1-5 times a week　Kanto-area 2-5 times a week Long course :　8:00〜18:00 　3 to 5 times a week

Parents & Me

Enrollment Eligibility	Baby class: pregnant mothers and mothers with infants from 0 to 9 months *with parents Toddler class: Mothers with active infants and toddlers (starting from 9 months to 24 months)
Date & Time	Baby class: 9:00〜9:40 for 40minutes, Tuesday, Thursday　 Toddler class: 9:00〜9:40 for 40minutes, Wednesday, Friday ※Times and days may vary by campus.
Frequency	Once or twice a week
