The Early Learning Center (ELC) provides a safe, nurturing, yet stimulating environment for children aged 1 to 3 years.
Our carefully designed process of learning through play is called active participatory learning. We believe children are born sensory-motor learners and that they learn best when they have direct hands-on experiences with people, objects, events and ideas around them.
Teachers are expected to value and respect each child as a unique individual and support their natural desire to be active learners. Creating an active learning environment for toddlers means intentionally considering all their needs: social and emotional, physical and cognitive.
Play is the key to learning
Playing outside effectively stimulates all five senses. You can feel the sun on your face and the breeze on your skin as you play on the playground, jumping and running around. All of these activities stimulate children’s senses and help their brains to develop.
At ELC&K, we developed an original curriculum for learning English as well as a right-brain program designed to stimulate development in children when their brains are still growing.
ELC’s Goal
Our goal is to instill a love of exploring, socializing, and learning in EVERY CHILD.
